One of the highlights of the 2026 Formula 3 season, marked by a victory in Madrid and five podiums, Pedro Clerot is confirmed to compete in the Formula Regional Oceania Championship in 2027, continuing his preparation for the coming year with Rodin, the team with which the Brazilian will also contest his second season in F3.
Rodin is the major new entrant among the teams for 2027 in Formula Regional Oceania. The championship is slated to feature four rounds, on consecutive weekends in January, starting on the 8th and ending on the 29th, visiting four different circuits. The championship also marks the debut of the new car, the GRF 70, and expectations are for more than 20 drivers.
“The championship will be a very interesting challenge with the new car. I am very happy to continue my preparation for my second season with Rodin in the FIA Formula 3. Naturally, our goal is to fight for the championship and to always be at the front,” says Clerot, who is 19 years old.
Champion of the Brazilian F4 in 2022, Clerot finished the 2026 season in an impressive sixth place overall. His single-seater experience also includes stints in Formula Regional in 2024 and 2025, years in which he achieved two wins and six podiums, which were pivotal for a solid second season in the Formula Regional European Championship, thus earning fourth place in the standings.
“The track time, the focus on accumulating mileage and a busy schedule of testing, practice, qualifying and races will be extremely valuable for my preparation for the F3 season. I am very excited to travel to New Zealand and join the team in its first season in the Formula Regional Oceania,” adds Clerot.
