November 2, 2026

Toto Wolff reflected on the entire arc of Kimi Antonelli’s journey with Mercedes up to the young Italian securing his first World Championship title in Formula 1 at the Mexican Grand Prix this past Sunday, the 1st.

At only 20 years old, the competitor becomes the youngest champion in the history of the sport, in just his second year on the grid. His season was marked by nine victories and 16 podiums, the latest at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, where he finished third.

Third placed Andrea Kimi Antonelli (ITA) Mercedes AMG Formula One Team celebrates winning the World Championship in parc ferme.
