Pedro Clerot Targets Comeback Races at the F3 England Round

July 3, 2026

Brazilian in his first Formula 3 season, Pedro Clerot showed solid pace in qualifying for the fifth round of the championship, held at the Silverstone Circuit in England, but will have to race in recovery events. The Rodin Motorsport driver had reached the group of the ten fastest, but an incident prevented him from completing the session’s final lap, dropping him to 21st on the grid for the two races.

After the first run on track in qualifying, Clerot was eighth, which would put him in the inverted grid for the Sprint race. After fitting a new set of tires to improve his time in the final moments of qualifying, the Brazilian was hindered by another competitor leaving the track. Unable to improve the time, the driver of car number 17 will start from the 11th row of the grid.

“It’s a pity. I was eighth after the first run on track in qualifying when I was pushed off the track by another driver as I opened the lap with a fresh set of tires. We did an amazing job, but today’s result doesn’t reflect that,” said Pedro Clerot, who is sponsored by Banco BRB.

Clerot is one of the standout performers of the Formula 3 season. With two podiums, the Brazilian also adds three top-five finishes and five top-10 results in his debut year in the category. These results place the driver seventh in the standings with 38 points.

After qualifying, Formula 3 continues its schedule at Silverstone with the races. The Sprint is slated for 5:35 a.m. this Saturday (the 4th), while the main race takes place on Sunday at 4:25 a.m. F1TV will broadcast the events.
