June 27, 2026

Jorge Martín clinched pole position for the Dutch Grand Prix, the tenth round of the 2026 MotoGP season. In the final phase of qualifying held on Saturday morning (27) at the Assen circuit, the Aprilia rider posted his best lap of 1 minute 30.812 seconds, earning the top spot for both the Sprint and the main race.

The second position went to Ai Ogura, rider of an Aprilia from Trackhouse who was beaten by Martín by 0.011 seconds. The front row also includes Marco Bezzecchi, the championship leader and Martín’s teammate. Raúl Fernández, from Trackhouse, was fourth, opening the second row, which features Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati and Fabio Di Giannantonio, aboard a VR46 Ducati.

Marc Márquez, aboard a Ducati, finished seventh, and will be followed by Pedro Acosta, eighth on a KTM. Fabio Quartararo, rider for Yamaha, was ninth fastest. Joan Mir, who defends Honda, was tenth in the standings, ahead of Enea Bastianini, 11th with a Tech3 KTM. Álex Márquez, who crashed on Friday, did not take part in Q2.

The sole Brazilian on the MotoGP grid, Diogo Moreira, suffered a fall at the end of Q1 and posted the fourth time in the opening session. The LCR Honda rider, however, gains one position due to a penalty against Franco Morbidelli, who loses three spots on the grid, and will thus start from 13th.

Also on Saturday, starting at 10:00, the Sprint will take place, while the Dutch Grand Prix is scheduled for 9:00 on Sunday.
