Second in the Formula 3 championship standings, Ugo Ugochukwu was the fastest driver on Tuesday (the 25th) during the category’s group testing at the Madring circuit, located in Madrid, Spain. In the opening of the two sessions scheduled for the day at the newest Formula 1 venue, the Campos Racing American posted his best lap at 1:49.034, the top time of the test batch that kicked off on Monday.
Second place went to Hiyu Yamakoshi, a Van Amersfoort driver who was beaten by 0.193 seconds by Ugochukwu. Enzo Deligny, also with Van Amersfoort, finished third, followed by Ernesto Rivera, fourth with a Campos Racing car. The top five was completed by Tuukka Taponen, MP Motorsport’s driver.

Bruno Del Pino, another Van Amersfoort driver, ended the day with the sixth-best time, ahead of Yevan David, seventh with AIX Racing. Kanato Le, from ART Grand Prix, was eighth, finishing just ahead of his teammate Taito Kato. Freddie Slater, the quickest for the afternoon and the best on Monday, placed tenth for Trident.
The Brazilian contingent posted mixed results. Pedro Clerot recorded the 12th-fastest time with a Rodin Motorsport car, and he was the sixth quickest in the afternoon session as well. Fernando Barrichello, who briefly brought out a red flag, concluded the day 29th with AIX Racing. The two drivers completed 50 laps each.
With the testing behind them, the series shifts its focus to the penultimate round of the season, scheduled for September 4–6 at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza in Italy.
