Debuting in his Formula 3 season, Pedro Clerot closed out the championship’s second round, contested this Sunday (7) on the street circuit laid out in Monte Carlo, Monaco, in eighth place. The result adds four more points for the Brazilian, who raced on street circuits for the first time and secured his first podium in the category on Saturday with a third-place finish.
On a track where overtaking is notoriously difficult, Clerot battled for positions throughout the 27 laps of the race even with tires worn, and crossed the finish line with another top-10. Thus, Clerot has in this Formula 3 season a podium and three top-10 finishes, sitting sixth with 16 points after two double-header rounds.
“It was a very good weekend. I had never actually raced on street circuits, like this Monaco track, and I secured a podium on my very first time racing on this iconic circuit. Today I was the only one of the top ten with worn tires, so our pace was very strong. The overall result is very positive for the weekend,” said Pedro Clerot, who is backed by Banco BRB.
The Formula 3 championship continues the 2026 season next weekend, when it heads to the Circuit de Barcelona in Spain for the third round of the championship.
