NASCAR Brasil speeds up this weekend on the oval track at Circuito dos Cristais, in Curvelo (MG), the venue where Cacá Bueno finished in second place last season. The Team RC driver notes that the track’s characteristics make overtaking challenging, even though it is an oval circuit and the category’s car provides substantial tow.
“We left Curvelo last year with a second-place finish, in what was our first weekend racing on the oval and getting to know the track, so the expectations for this second go-around are positive. Racing on the oval is always fun, but it isn’t a simple oval. It has some particular features with a small grade and there isn’t a two-lane line to use, which makes overtaking quite difficult since only the outside section has the incline,” explains Cacá, who is sponsored by Betnacional, Capital Concreto, PicPay, ACDelco, SpeedMax Pneus, Pneu Store, Milwaukee, Turbi and Chevrolet.
