Formula 2 reaches its final stretch this weekend, as the Azerbaijan round takes place on the street circuit in Baku. The weekend, which will run from Thursday to Saturday and feature three races, promises to be decisive, since there is still uncertainty about the championship’s remaining rounds, scheduled for Qatar and Abu Dhabi due to conflicts in the Middle East.
The championship arrives in the Azerbaijani capital with Nikola Tsolov leading on 177 points, seven more than the Brazilian Rafael Câmara, who sits in second with 170. Gabriele Mini, on 153, holds third place, followed by Alexander Dunne in fourth with 139. Noel León, on 119, completes the top five. Emmo Fittiipaldi sits 17th with 28 points.
The only free practice and the two qualifying sessions are scheduled for Thursday, while the Sprint and the first main race take place on Friday at 1:15 and 7:15, respectively. The weekend’s third race starts at 4:00 a.m. on Saturday. Sportv, Globoplay and F1TV will show the entire schedule.
