Gabriel Casagrande Secures Podium in NASCAR Brasil at Velocitta

Pilot who races for AMattheis Vogel in NASCAR Brasil, Gabriel Casagrande secured a podium in the fourth round of the 2026 season, contested at Velocitta, the race track located in Mogi Guaçu, São Paulo. The driver of car number 83 crossed the finish line in second place in the opening race of the round, showing solid pace throughout.

Casagrande battled for the win almost the entire race that opened the double-header, but he was ultimately overtaken on the final lap, finishing in second place. In the afternoon race, the Paraná-based driver was likewise in contention for the victory, and he moved into second place with a double overtake on the penultimate lap. Moments later, Gabriel suffered two contacts that caused an accident, forcing him to retire from the race.

“A gente conseguiu um segundo lugar na primeira corrida que foi importante para o campeonato. É sempre bom subir no pódio e agradeço a equipe, que me deu um carro muito bom. Na segunda corrida, tinha feito uma ultrapassagem dupla quando sofri um toque que acabou com a minha corrida. É uma pena, mas vamos manter a cabeça erguida, pois seguimos fortes na disputa pelo campeonato”, disse Gabriel Casagrande, que tem os patrocínios de Jupiter Batteries, Axalta, OnPetro, STP, Cresol, RP Info, UFI Filters, Chevrolet e OMP.

Após a passagem pelo Velocitta, Gabriel Casagrande aparece na terceira colocação do campeonato, somando 109 pontos, apenas dez distante da liderança da tabela de classificação.
