Máximo Quiles won this Sunday (the 28th) the Netherlands Grand Prix, the tenth round of the 2026 Moto3 season. In a frantic race that started from the third place and bunched up behind on the Assen circuit, the Aspar rider engaged in a hard-fought duel with David Almansa over the 20 laps, but managed to thwart the rival’s attacks and secure his sixth victory of the year.
The second place went to Almansa, the Intact GP rider who managed to overtake Quiles on several occasions, yet was always bested by the rival. Marco Morelli, racing for Aspar, completed the podium in third, followed by Valentín Perrone in fourth for Tech3, the outfit that saw Rico Salmela finish inside the top five of the race.

Joel Kelso, aboard a GRYD motorcycle, finished sixth, ahead of Jesús Ríos, seventh on a Snipers machine. Adrian Fernández crossed the line in eighth on a Leopard Racing bike, while Brian Uriarte, from Ajo, took ninth. Hakim Danish, who had shown himself among the leaders at times, finished tenth on the MSI.
The race featured several retirements, with the most notable being Álvaro Carpe, who was the championship’s vice-leader as Moto3 arrived at the Assen circuit. Other riders such as Veda Pratama, Marcos Uriarte and Leo Rammerstorfer came down during the event.
The Moto3 championship will resume on July 12 with the German Grand Prix, scheduled to take place at Sachsenring.
