Volvo confirmed this Wednesday (the 14th), during the brand’s global event in Barcelona, Spain, more details about the new EX60, the electric SUV that will arrive in Brazil. The model will be imported from Sweden and will land on the domestic market between October and November 2026, arriving in the mid-range P10 version.
The manufacturer also plans to expand the EX60 lineup in Brazil in 2027, introducing the P6, considered entry-level, and the P12, the top-of-the-line version, which will deliver 680 hp of power and 80.6 kgf·m of torque. In this version, the battery will be 117 kWh and the range, in the European cycle, will be 810 kilometers.
The new EX60 arrives in the country equipped with two motors, one on each axle, which together provide 510 hp of power and 72.4 kgf·m of torque, and all-wheel drive. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint is accomplished in 4.6 seconds, and the top speed is limited to 180 km/h. The model’s 95 kWh battery offers a WLTP range of 660 kilometers.
The SUV can also be charged at ultra-fast charging stations of up to 400 kW. At that pace, the battery can go from 10% to 80% in just 16 minutes, while in ten minutes the vehicle recovers 315 kilometers of range.
The Volvo EX60 measures 4.80 meters in length, 1.90 meters in width, and 1.64 meters in height. The wheelbase is 2.97 meters. The main trunk offers 634 liters of capacity, while a front luggage compartment adds another 58 liters of cargo.
Internally, the model features a dedicated 11.4-inch instrument cluster, while the infotainment center, an OLED unit, measures 15 inches. The vehicle also includes Safe Space technology, which adjusts the seat belt position according to occupant size, and provides acoustic isolation.
The model is built on the SPA3 platform, which is used by other Volvo models and also for cars produced by the Chinese Geely. It features a component dubbed “mega casting,” a single sheet that replaces several other parts.
The Volvo EX60 is expected to reach the Brazilian market at a price of R$ 550,000.
