Tozzo Leads Practice 1 With Challenge Trio in NASCAR Brazil at Interlagos

The NASCAR Brasil Series held on Friday afternoon (29) the first free practice for the weekend of the third round of the 2026 season at the Interlagos Circuit, in São Paulo. Felipe Tozzo, from the Challenge class, led the session, which was halted by a red flag, with a best lap of 1 minute 49.462 seconds.

Tozzo was joined by two other teammates from the same class: Gustavo Bandeira, who finished second with a time of 1 minute 49.639 seconds; and Gui Backes, who ended up 0.221 seconds adrift. Jorge Martelli, already in the main class, managed 1 minute 50.337 and took fourth place. Ricardo Zonta finished fifth with 1 minute 50.349.

The rookie Murilo Rocha claimed the sixth-fastest time: 1 minute 50.965 seconds. Next came Witold Ramasauskas, who posted 1 minute 51.153 seconds. Alfredinho Ibiapina finished eighth with 1 minute 51.233 seconds, while Thiago Camilo posted 1 minute 51.501 and secured ninth place. Galid Osman closed the top‑10 with 1 minute 51.548.

The NASCAR Brasil will conduct the second free practice on Saturday morning. The qualifying, which includes a sprint race, starts at 2:35 p.m.
