Tito Giaffone Joins NASCAR Driver Development Program in the USA

September 16, 2025

Young revelation of NASCAR Brazil in 2025, Tito Giaffone will be one of the country’s representatives in the Driver Development Experience, which will take place in the USA between October 10th and 18th. The winner and runner-up of the competition will advance to the Pro Late Model in 2026.

“I’m very happy to announce that we’ve been selected for the Driver Development program. With all our effort, we managed to pass in first place, and now it’s time to focus on what I can still improve and go all out,” says Tito, who finished the national championship in the top-5 of the Challenge category with the Full Time team.

Before heading to the USA, Tito will still accelerate in this weekend’s stage in his first oval race of his career, at the Curvelo (MG) circuit, which kicks off the Special Edition of NASCAR Brazil.

“I hope to evolve even more in this final part. It’s the only oval of the Brazilian season. In the simulator, I really enjoy driving on ovals, but on the track itself, it will be something new for me. I’m very anxious to see how this experience will be,” completes Tito, who has the support of PPG.

The NASCAR Brazil activities will begin this Thursday with extra training sessions, and the drivers will return to the oval the next day for free practice. The schedule continues on Saturday with a new qualification format starting at 10am, when each driver will have five laps on the track. The qualifying race of the Challenge will be at 1:45pm on the same day, while the main event is scheduled for Sunday at 1:50pm, with the dispute of 100 laps or 53 minutes plus one lap. RedeTV!, ESPN, Disney+, and YouTube will broadcast the race.
