The Colombian Tatiana Calderón made history in NASCAR Brasil this Sunday (the 20th) by becoming the first woman to win the overall NASCAR Brasil standings. The driver had been pacing well over the weekend and took advantage of starting from Race 2 to stay consistent until the moment to lead the race appeared. For the second race, Cacá Bueno started from the front. He managed to maintain the lead in the early laps. Tatiana Calderón had a strong start and managed to overtake Witold Ramasauskas for third place. She then moved ahead of Ibiapina, but he defended his position.

With 25 minutes still on the clock, the safety car hit the track after Nicolas Costa crashed and stopped.
The restart occurred three minutes later and Ibiapina took a risk to pass Bueno. The two touched and left the track, leaving Calderón as the leader. The safety car was deployed again.
The race resumed with Calderón at the front. The major moves were in the middle of the grid, but the restart went without issues. Thiago Camilo, who won race 1, had to retire.

Felipe Malinowski managed to overtake Gama and take the runner-up position of the race.
The race continued more stabilized. However, with nine minutes left, Felipinho Tozzo tried to overtake Arthur Gama and ended up off the track. Ricardo Maurício moved up to fourth place.
In front, Malinowski and Calderón opened a gap over the rest of the grid.
Mauricio managed to overtake Gama to be third.
The final laps were marked by Malinowski’s pursuit of Calderón. The two came very close on the track, but the driver managed to re-open the lead in the closing seconds of the race.
With two laps to go, Murilo Rocha and Firas Fahs were involved in an incident that also hurt Gabriel Casagrande.
Thus, Calderón won her first race in NASCAR Brasil, becoming the first woman to win the overall standings of the event. Bruna Tomaselli, her teammate, won this year in the Challenge class.
Malinowski finished in second, while Mauricio completed the podium. Arthur Gama finished fourth, followed by Witold Ramasauskas. Juninho Berlanda finished sixth, while Galid Osman was seventh. Jorge Martelli finished ninth, while Cacá Bueno closed the top-10.
