Tarso Marques Sees High Level of NASCAR Brasil Drivers “Fighting on Equal Terms”

October 6, 2025

Tarso Marques is quite satisfied with the lineup of drivers in the NASCAR Brazil grid. When discussing the drivers competing for the championship, he highlighted that great competitors in the sport are fighting on an equal footing.

Last week, the category held an event to unveil the new car for 2026, the RISE26, to the world. Not only that, but it also brought news such as new venues for the calendar and a new championship format.

In an exclusive conversation with the F1MANIA.NET, the executive was asked about his views on the growing interest of drivers in NASCAR Brazil, and his satisfaction could not be greater.

“This is very cool, first because we have a high quality of drivers, they already had very good drivers and until then they were not very well known, now we have the main names in Brazilian motorsport,” he told the website.

“Several of the main ones are there fighting on an equal footing with those who demonstrate the level of drivers that the category had before and also the new ones, which I think is the best school for those who are racing, thinking of making a career, thinking of touring cars, without a doubt, NASCAR is the best path,” he added.
