NASCAR Brazil: Bruna Tomaselli Is Preparing to Race Before the Santa Catarina Crowd

October 30, 2026

Bruna Tomaselli is gearing up for a special NASCAR Brasil weekend. After more than 21 years spent traveling to race, the Santa Catarina driver will compete for the first time close to home, in Chapecó (SC), with family, friends, and sponsors in attendance. The event is scheduled for next weekend and already excites the SG28 ProRacing Team’s representative.

The aim is to make the most of this moment on the track as well. Bruna comes off a positive season in the Challenge, with one victory and three podiums, and believes that racing in the region will carry a different weight.

“For the first time, I won’t need to stay in a hotel to race. After 21 years of countless trips, I’ll finally be able to compete near my family, friends, and sponsors who are in the area. That makes a huge difference psychologically. I’m sure it will be a fantastic weekend for the regional drivers and for the city. I’m certain the track will be packed,” the driver comments.

Bruna is also excited about the new track’s facilities. She has visited the construction site several times and liked what she saw, especially the asphalt and the kerbs. The pits remain an unknown for the Santa Catarina athlete, who hopes to find favorable working conditions for the teams.

“From everything I’ve seen during my visits to the track, the asphalt quality is very good, as is the construction of the kerbs. I haven’t yet seen how the pits will look once finished, but I believe we’ll have excellent conditions to work and push hard. Chapecó will gain a lot from the construction of the circuit,” she highlighted.
