MotoGP had, on Saturday morning (the 30th), the defining of the starting grids for the races of the Italian Grand Prix, the seventh round of the 2026 season. Marco Bezzecchi will start from pole position for both the Sprint and the main race at Mugello after posting a lap of 1:43.921.
Aprilia also saw Raúl Fernández, aboard a Trackhouse-Aprilia, and Jorge Martín, Bezzecchi’s teammate in the factory squad, seal the front row. Marc Márquez starts fourth on the Ducati. Diogo Moreira, on an LCR-Honda, starts eighth.
The Italian Grand Prix Sprint is scheduled for 10:00 this Saturday, while the main race takes place on Sunday at 9:00.
