MotoGP heads into the weekend with the 15th round of the 2026 season, the Austrian Grand Prix, scheduled to take place at the Red Bull Ring. The event will also host races in Moto2, Moto3, and the Harley‑Davidson Baggers World Cup, promising to add another chapter to the global title fight between Marc Márquez, Jorge Martín, and Marco Bezzecchi.
The premier class of world motorcycle racing currently has Márquez and Martín sharing the lead, each on 274 points, followed by Bezzecchi in third with 241. Fabio Di Giannantonio is in fourth with 233, while Pedro Acosta sits fifth with 209. Diogo Moreira ranks 14th in the championship with 64 points.
The Moto2 category is led by Manuel González on 232.5 points after 14 rounds, with Izán Guevara (185) in second place. Iván Ortolá sits third on 157.5, just ahead of Senna Agius in fourth on 149. The top five is completed by David Alonso with 139 points.
Máximo Quiles maintains a comfortable advantage in the Moto3 standings, leading with 281 points, while the runner-up David Almansa has 174. Álvaro Carpe is third on 159, followed by Brian Uriarte in fourth on 154. Rounding out the top five is Marco Morelli with 138 points this season.
The weekend schedule will begin on Friday with the free practice sessions, continuing on Saturday, a day also featuring the qualifying rounds and the MotoGP Sprint at 10:00, along with Baggers Race 1. Sunday is reserved for the races, with MotoGP scheduled to start at 9:00. ESPN and Disney+ will broadcast the events.
