Moto3 Valencia Friday
The Friday session of Moto3 in Valencia began under a strong sun and ended with David Almansa as the fastest rider. The Spanish rider spent the day improving his time with each lap, establishing an unbeatable pace for the rest of the pack, and finishing at the top with a 0.310-second advantage over the second-placed rider and almost 1 second below the old circuit record.
Leopard Racing still celebrated a 1-2 finish, as Adrian Fernandez secured the second-best time by following his teammate’s good pace. Right behind, Valentin Perrone showed speed and consistency to put his name back in the mix, closing the top 3 in a session marked by very fast laps from the first minutes.
Guido Pini maintained a solid performance throughout the activity and finished fourth, while Taiyo Furusato confirmed his recent improvement on Fridays with a fifth-place finish. In a grid as tight as Moto3’s, both riders showed competitive form on the first day of the weekend.
Among the positive surprises, Jesus Rios shone by finishing seventh and advancing to Q2 for the first time, surpassing Maximo Quiles, who also secured a direct pass. Further back, Adrian Cruces, Casey O’Gorman, and Marco Morelli completed the list of riders who earned spots in Q2 after good performances.
