The NASCAR Brasil Series returns this weekend to one of the most traditional circuits in national motorsport. On August 21 and 23, the Autódromo Internacional Ayrton Senna in Londrina (Paraná) hosts the 6th round of the 2026 season, the penultimate commitment of the regular season before the Playoffs begin.
Londrina carries historical weight for the category. The circuit is the second-most utilized since the competition’s founding, still dating back to the Sprint Race era, and it reaches its 16th appearance on the calendar. In total, 31 races have been held at the venue, with this being NASCAR Brasil Series’ fourth visit.
The story began in 2013, when two daytime races were contested on the long circuit. Gustavo Martins won both. The following year, Londrina hosted the competition’s first night race, with Higor Hoffmann and Adriano Amaral taking the wins in the PRO and GP categories, respectively. The novelty opened the door for the traditional Night Challenge format.

In the previous season, 2025, the circuit hosted the Sunset Race. Thiago Camilo won the first race, followed by Gabriel Casagrande and Galid Osman. In the second, Léo Torres claimed the victory, with Rubens Barrichello in second and Victor Andrade in third. In 2024, Léo Reis won the first race and Cayan Chianca secured his first-category victory in the Night Challenge.
With a length of 3,146 meters and ten corners, the Autódromo Internacional Ayrton Senna blends high-, mid-, and low-speed sections, in addition to climbs, descents, and overtaking opportunities. The circuit will run counterclockwise and demands attention due to the walls’ proximity and the famous downhill corner known as the “Dive.”

Located in the northern part of Paraná, about 381 kilometers from Curitiba, Londrina returns to host the NASCAR Brasil Series at a pivotal moment of the championship. The round could be decisive for drivers seeking a spot among the 12 classified for the Playoffs.
The stage will award 60 points per driver: 25 in each of the two main races and an additional 10 from the qualifying Sprint Race. In the 7th and final round of the regular phase, 75 more points will be up for grabs, including the 25 awarded for the qualifying.
The top 12 in the standings advance to the Playoffs with a 20-point bonus for the first phase. In the second phase, the six pilots remaining in the fight receive an additional 10 points for the decision in Brasília (DF). The championships for the Challenge and Rookie categories will be decided only after the nine rounds of the season.
