Lexus announced the arrival in Brazil of the new RZ 500e, an SUV that is the brand’s first fully electric model in the country. The initial units of the vehicle, sold through a pre-sale conducted in December 2025, will begin deliveries this week, and will also reach showrooms priced at R$ 499,990.
To honor what the brand calls the “Lexus Design Signature,” which aims to allow the driver to enjoy comfort, driving confidence, and control at all times, the RZ 500e underwent development at the Lexus Technical Center, located in Shimoyama, Japan, under the care of the brand’s engineers and professional drivers.
The model features one motor on each axle, each delivering 167 kW of power. The Lexus RZ 500e offers 381 hp of power and has an instant torque of 26.9 kgf·m. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is 4.6 seconds. The range is 357 kilometers, according to Inmetro data.
The Lexus RZ 500e is equipped with a lithium-ion battery featuring a liquid cooling system and a capacity of 77 kWh. It can be recharged up to 80% of its capacity in just 30 minutes, using fast chargers with up to 150 kW capacity.
The styling is inspired by a coupé, and the model rides on 20-inch alloy wheels with a diamond-cut finish. The SUV is available in ten exterior colors, including Pearl White, Chrome Gray, Iridium Silver, Graphite Black, Ether Blue, and Bronze. Inside, there are three upholstery colors: Blue, Caramel, and Charcoal, always using Ultra Suede, with 30% plant-based material.
The cabin features ambient lighting with up to 64 customizable LED colors. The infotainment system is a 14-inch display and is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which can be activated by voice with the phrase “Hello, Lexus.” The sound system carries a Mark Levinson signature and comprises 14 speakers.
The SUV also features eight airbags and a range of active safety systems, such as lane departure and lane change assist, forward collision system, adaptive high-beam headlights, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot alert.
