Ferrari was the big champion of the 2025 Endurance World Championship. And for Giuliano Salvi, responsible for the team’s track operations, this was the ultimate goal, with the triumph being ‘something incredible’.
The Maranello team won its first title in a top-level sports car category since 1972, in addition to taking the top spots in the World Drivers’ Championship with James Calado, Antonio Giovinazzi, and Alessandro Pier Guidi.
The team title came in a championship where Ferrari won no less than four victories in eight stages, including a third consecutive triumph in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
“I’ve never seen a championship like this. I’ve been at Ferrari for 25 years. In F1, we’ve had incredible joys, but we were missing this great result. We built a project over several years. But, honestly, it was incredible how we evolved each season, always raising our goal higher and higher,” said Salvi.
“It was fantastic from the first Le Mans in 2023, and then repeating the feat every year. And then there was this final goal. Certainly, for all those who spend their entire lives inside the factory, for all the employees, it’s something incredible. We are extremely proud to have achieved this,” he added.
