Valdeno Brito Secures Podium Finish in NASCAR Brasil with 25 Overtakes in Two Velocitta Races

November 12, 2025

Driver defending the R.Mattheis team in NASCAR Brazil, Valdeno Brito achieved a podium finish in the race that closed the penultimate stage of the season, valid for the Special Edition, held at Velocitta, in Mogi Guaçu (SP). The Brazilian from Paraíba crossed the finish line in third place, after starting the day with a fifth-place finish in the qualifying race, where he started from the back of the grid, and made a total of 25 passes in the sum of the two disputes of the day.

After facing a challenging Saturday, Valdeno saw the car show the performance demonstrated in the free practice session on Friday. In the second race, the driver climbed no less than 16 positions to finish fifth. In the race that closed the weekend, the owner of car number 77 remained fast and finished third after starting 12th, advancing nine positions in the dispute.

‘Today, already in the morning training, the car behaved better. In the first race, I went from 21st to fifth position, and in the second, I started 12th due to the sum of points from the first two races, and reached the podium. The Safety Car came at a time when, perhaps, we could have fought for victory. I can only thank the team, who gave me a wonderful car, God, and my sponsors,” said Valdeno Brito, who has the sponsorships of SETAI Grupo GP and TSR Investimentos.

The final stage of the 2025 NASCAR Brazil season will be held on December 7, at the Autódromo de Interlagos, in São Paulo (SP).
