Raúl Fernández was the fastest rider in the last practice session held this Friday (9) for the Indonesian Grand Prix, the 17th round of the 2026 MotoGP season. In the session run overnight at the Mandalika circuit, the Trackhouse Aprilia rider posted a best lap of 1:28.725, breaking the Indonesian track record.
The runner-up spot went to Marco Bezzecchi, an Aprilia rider who, after leading the first session of the day, finished 0.219 seconds behind Fernández. Championship leader and Bezzecchi’s teammate, Jorge Martín, came in third, followed by Pedro Acosta in fourth on a KTM. Marc Márquez completed the top five on a Ducati in Mandalika.

Fabio Di Giannantonio, aboard VR46’s Ducati, finished sixth in the session, ahead of Fabio Quartararo, seventh on a Yamaha. Álex Márquez, on a Gresini Ducati, was eighth, placing him ahead of Franco Morbidelli, ninth on the VR46 machine. Francesco Bagnaia, on a Ducati, was tenth and completed the group that will advance directly to Q2.
The lone Brazilian on the MotoGP grid, Diogo Moreira, put the LCR Honda in 19th place. The Brazilian, who crashed in the closing moments of the session, will have to go through the opening phase of qualifying on Friday night. The session, by the way, was marked by several crashes, including Fermín Aldeguer, Enea Bastianini, Fabio Quartararo and Álex Márquez.
Also on Friday, from 23:10, the final free practice of the weekend will take place, while qualifying is scheduled for 23:50. The Sprint is set to start at 04:00 on Saturday, while the Indonesian Grand Prix is scheduled for 04:00 on Sunday.
