F3: Ugochukwu Completes Jerez Tests with Fastest Time in Formula 3 Racing Session

Final Day of Formula 3 Collective Testing Concludes with Ugo Ugochukwu as Fastest Driver

Ugo Ugochukwu set the pace on the final day of Formula 3 collective testing at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto circuit in Spain. During the first session on Wednesday, the Campos Racing driver, who competed in the category this season, recorded a best lap time of 1:30.012.

Ernesto Rivera secured the second position, driving another Campos car, and finished 0.197 seconds behind Ugochukwu. Freddie Slater, behind the wheel of a Trident car, ended the day with the third-best time, followed by Christian Ho, who was the fourth fastest in a Rodin car. Noah Stromsted, driving for Trident, completed the top five.

As the fastest driver on Tuesday, Alessandro Giusti concluded the session with the sixth-best time for MP Motorsport, ahead of James Wharton, who was seventh for Prema. Taito Kato, driving an ART Grand Prix car, achieved the eighth-best time, with Brando Badoer, from Rodin, in ninth place. Brad Benavides, representing AIX Racing, completed the list of the top ten fastest drivers.

The session once again featured two Brazilian drivers. Pedro Clerot improved his time by nine tenths and finished Wednesday in 14th place driving a Rodin-prepared car. Fernando Barrichello also showed improvement in his lap times and concluded the day in 29th place driving an AIX Racing car.

The Formula 3 post-season testing will continue on October 15 and 16 at the Barcelona circuit.
