Nikola Tsolov is the new leader of the FIA Formula 2 Championship after the seventh round of the season. The Bulgarian swept both races this weekend at the Silverstone circuit in England, edged Gabriele Mini in the standings, and now has 141 points in the season’s first half of the FIA Formula 2 Championship.
Mini now occupies a second place in the standings, totaling 116 points after seven of the 14 rounds. Rafael Câmara, the Brazilian driver defending Invicta Racing, is third with 94 points, two more than Alexander Dunne, who is fourth with 92. The group of the five best also includes Noel León, on 69. Emmo Fittipaldi sits 20th with ten points.

The next round of the FIA Formula 2 Championship will be contested in two weeks’ time, as the series travels to the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium.
