F3: Pedro Clerot Climbs Eight Places, Highlights the Car’s Strong Pace in the Silverstone Feature Race

July 5, 2026

A Brazilian driver in his first Formula 3 season, Pedro Clerot closed this Sunday (5) the fifth round of the championship, held at the Silverstone circuit in England. The Rodin Motorsport driver climbed eight positions in the main race of the round, showing a strong pace to finish 13th in one of the most frenetic races.

Starting from 21st after an incident in Friday’s qualifying prevented a positive result, Clerot gained two positions at the start and remained in a large pack of cars from there. In the second half of the race, the driver of the car number 17 began to advance and showed a strong pace to gain five more positions, finishing 13th. On Saturday, which featured the Sprint, Clerot finished 20th after starting 21st and suffering an incident at the start.

“Our pace in the race was very good. We went from 21st to finish 13th, and I believe we maximized everything today. Sometimes things slip from our control, but it’s important never to give up. In two weeks we have the Spa stage, and now we are focused on this race,” said Pedro Clerot, who is backed by Banco BRB.

Clerot remains in the top-10 of the championship after the completion of the round that marked the halfway point of the season. The driver, the first champion in F4 Brasil history, sits in eighth place with 38 points. In the campaign, Pedro has two podiums, three top-5 finishes and five top-ten finishes after five double-header rounds contested in 2026.

The Formula 3 season continues in 2026 on July 17, 18 and 19 at Spa-Francorchamps, in Belgium.
