Isack Hadjar is in the process of recovering from the wrist injury he sustained during the Formula 1 break, and Laurent Mekies outlined the procedure to ensure the driver is ready to return to the track.
The Frenchman has been out of Red Bull for the last three races — the Netherlands, Italy, and Spain. Still dealing with the wrist fracture pain, Red Bull is in no rush to bring him back into the RB22, with Liam Lawson taking on the role for now.

Speaking further about the driver’s situation, the team principal of the Austrian outfit said a process would be followed, starting with his placement in a simulator, and only green-lighting a return to F1 testing when he is completely fit.
“We plan to place him in the simulator to expose him to real-world situations. If he feels close to 100%, we move forward,” he said.
“If he feels that the recovery isn’t complete, we will maintain our approach of prioritizing his recovery. What we don’t want is that an early return compromises his ability to, in the long term, return to 100%,” he added.
