Carlos Col Discusses Exchange Program Between NASCAR Brazil and NASCAR USA Racing Series Opportunities

October 11, 2025

Carlos Col commented on the exchange between NASCAR Brazil and NASCAR USA, expressing his satisfaction with the interchange and its benefits, particularly for young drivers.

The category originated as Sprint Race in 2011 and has since evolved over the course of its 12 seasons. However, in 2023, it associated with the NASCAR brand and has since become the Brazilian arm of the well-known US competition.

For the director, this is a source of pride, as there is significant exchange between the two categories, and they are now also investing in young Brazilian talents, as he told F1MANIA.NET.

“We have a very interesting exchange with American NASCAR, where we learn a lot from them, and they provide us with a lot of information,” he said in an interview with the portal.

“We have a program, for example, called Driver Development, which includes boys aged 17 to 21, NASCAR Brazil drivers, who are going there to take a test, and then the best-placed drivers will win races. Who knows, maybe one of them will end up advancing their career in the United States,” he added.
