Cacá Bueno Approves Car Performance After Fourth-Place Finish in NASCAR Brasil Practice at Curvelo Oval

One of the standout performers on the Curvelo oval (MG) in 2025 with a second-place finish, Cacá Bueno demonstrated that he remains among the fastest drivers in 2026 during the practice sessions that opened NASCAR Brasil’s schedule at Circuito dos Cristais. The Team RC driver wrapped up the day in fourth place, finishing the session with a lap time of 29.705 seconds.

“It was a very productive day for us. The circuit is short and tricky, with some undulations. There are lines you have to take, and we finished fourth overall, very close to everyone, but here everything is extremely tight. A tenth from the lead, and also a tenth behind would move us from fourth to tenth,” says Cacá, who has 94 points and sits sixth in the standings.

Even though it is still the first day of practice, Cacá believes his car has already shown itself to be faster than what it had in the previous round, in Londrina (PR).

“The car behaved well; it’s better than in Londrina, it’s improved a bit in terms of the engine and the balance is good, so we are confident and excited, but nothing is guaranteed. We’ll keep working,” concludes Cacá, who is backed by Betnacional, Capital Concreto, PicPay, ACDelco, SpeedMax Pneus, Pneu Store, Milwaukee, Turbi and Chevrolet.

The NASCAR Brasil activities continue with the second session at 10:10 a.m. on Saturday, and on the same day the qualifying is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. Race 1 took place at 9:00 a.m., and Race 2 is set for 2:10 p.m. SBT, ESPN, Disney+ and YouTube will broadcast the event.
