NASCAR Brasil: Gabriel Casagrande Leads First Practice in Chapecó, Praises New Circuit

October 30, 2026

Driver who defends AMattheis Vogel in NASCAR Brasil, Gabriel Casagrande was the fastest on the opening free practice for the penultimate round of the championship, held on the oval circuit of the Chapecó International Autodrome (SC). The driver of car number 83 posted, on his best lap of the afternoon, a time of 36.856 seconds, leading the standings in the session that opened the weekend.

“I am really excited for this race. We were looking forward to it after Curvelo. Our car is good, I was able to post an excellent lap time and, with the best time, we’ll have one more overtaking option. There are things we can improve for the race. The times are tight because it’s a small track, but we’ll try to improve even more,” Casagrande said, who highlighted the new autodrome, the first asphalt track in Santa Catarina.
