Formula 2 is set to contest the second main race of the 12th round scheduled for 4:00 a.m. this Saturday (25) on the street circuit in Baku, Azerbaijan. The race will have pole position in Martinius Stenshorne, the Rodin Motorsport driver who posted the fastest time in the second qualifying session of the round, held on Thursday.
The second position on the grid went to the other Rodin driver, Alexander Dunne, winner of the main race this Friday and third in the championship. Leading the points table, Rafael Câmara starts from third position with an Invicta car, sharing the second row with Mari Boya, fourth with Prema. Kush Maini, with ART Grand Prix, completes the top five of the grid.
Second in the championship standings after Friday’s races, Nikola Tsolov will start 11th in a Campos Racing car, after losing three positions on the grid for crossing the pit exit line during the main race on Friday. Emmo Fittipaldi, meanwhile, begins the battle from 20th position with AIX Racing.
