MotoGP revealed this Friday (25) the calendar for the 2027 season with a few novelties. The season, which will open on March 7 and end on November 28, will feature 21 rounds, a new Grand Prix, Argentina, and the debut of the street circuit in Adelaide, Australia, in addition to the Brazil return, with the race in Goiânia (GO).
The opening will take place in Buriram, with the Thailand Grand Prix, which will be followed by another race in Asia, but in the Middle East region, in Qatar. The month of April marks a swing through the Americas, with the Brazil Grand Prix scheduled for the 4th, while the Argentina Grand Prix will take place a week later, in Buenos Aires. On April 25, the United States Grand Prix will be held in Austin.
The European leg of the MotoGP season begins on May 9 with the Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez. From there, races follow in France, Mugello, Barcelona, the Netherlands, Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, Misano, Aragón, and Portugal, which closes this phase on October 3.
A new eastward swing will begin on October 17, with the Japan Grand Prix in Motegi, which will be followed by rounds in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Australia, moving the latter from Phillip Island to the streets of Adelaide. The season will conclude on November 28 with the Valencia Grand Prix in Spain.
The 2026 season continues and will feature the Japan GP next week, at Motegi.
