Jorge Martín has pulled clear at the top of the MotoGP standings following his Sprint victory at the Austrian Grand Prix, the 15th round of the 2026 season. The Aprilia rider triumphed after starting from pole and recovering from a rough start that saw him drop to seventh, before surging to the lead in the short race, earning 12 more points to reach 286 in the championship table.
Marc Márquez, runner-up in Saturday’s race, now sits on 283 and occupies second place in the standings, after the day began tied with Martín. Marco Bezzecchi, on 248, is third in the championship, followed by Fabio Di Giannantonio, fourth on 223. Ai Ogura and Pedro Acosta, both on 209, round out the top five.
Raúl Fernández, with 199 points, sits seventh in the championship, followed by Álex Márquez in eighth with 158. Francesco Bagnaia, with 147, and Fermín Aldeguer, with 107, complete the top ten. The sole Brazilian on the grid, Diogo Moreira, is 14th with 64 points.
The main race of the Austrian GP is scheduled to take place on Sunday, with a start at 9:00 local time.
