The NASCAR Brasil 2026 regular season came to an end this Sunday (the 20th), in Curvelo (MG), and it defined the 12 drivers who will compete in the Playoffs for the season title. With the conclusion of the seventh stage, the qualifiers secured a 20-point bonus for the championship’s decisive phase.
Thiago Camilo finished the regular phase at the top of the overall standings, with 226 points, just one point ahead of Arthur Gama, who ended the stage in second place with 225. Gabriel Casagrande completed the top three, with 213 points.
The list of the 12 qualifiers also includes Tatiana Calderón, Vitor Genz, Nicolas Costa, Cacá Bueno, Alfredinho Ibiapina, Galid Osman, Murilo Rocha, Ricardo Maurício, and Witold Ramasauskas.
The Colombian secured her spot after the seventh stage in Curvelo, where she won Race 2 and made history by becoming the first woman to triumph in NASCAR Brasil’s overall standings. Felipe Malinowski finished second in the race, but does not appear among the 12 playoff qualifiers.
In the Challenge, Witold Ramasauskas finished the regular phase at the top, with 209 points. Alfredinho Ibiapina, with 182, and Murilo Rocha, with 174, completed the top three positions in the category.
The regular phase consisted of 14 races and ended with a minimal gap between the top two in the overall standings. The closeness among the leaders was also highlighted by NASCAR Brasil’s CEO, Thiago Marques.
“Everything is open, there is little difference; what really matters is the overall champion in the end and it will be special. The last two rounds will be incredible,” he said.
Now, the title fight moves into its decisive phase. The Playoffs will be staged over the final two events of the calendar, with the first one scheduled for November 1, in Chapecó (SC). The deciding round takes place in Brasília (DF) on November 29.
Each of the stages will feature three races, and it is in this closing stretch of the season that the champions of NASCAR Brasil, Challenge, and Rookie will be crowned.
