Dino Beganovic won this Sunday (13) the main race of the 11th round of the 2026 Formula 2 season, held at Madring, the circuit located in Madrid, Spain. The DAMS driver started from pole position and led the race, which was concluded by time rather than laps, from start to finish, securing his first victory of the year.
The second place belonged to Alexander Dunne, who stayed close to Beganovic throughout the battle, but could not attempt the overtake. The Rodin Motorsport driver was followed by Ritomo Miyata, winner of the Sprint and third with Hitech. Joshua Durksen crossed the finish line in fourth with Invicta Racing, while Emmo Fittipaldi, of AIX Racing, finished fifth.

Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak finished the contest in sixth place aboard the ART Grand Prix, while Gabriele Mini, of MP Motorsport, was seventh. Martinius Stenshorne ended eighth with Rodin Motorsport, with Roman Bilinski, from DAMS, ninth. Rafael Câmara, of Invicta Racing, completed the points in tenth. Nikola Tsolov, of Campos Racing, lost performance in the final laps and finished 18th.
The race in the Spanish capital featured neutralisations. On the second lap, Kush Maini stopped against the wall with the ART Grand Prix car after being hit by Cian Shields, and the Safety Car was deployed on the following lap. The driver from AIX Racing was penalised for the incident after a few laps.
On the 18th lap, Oliver Goethe stopped against the wall with the MP Motorsport car while contesting position with Câmara, and there was a fresh yellow flag. The Brazilian was penalised by ten seconds. During the second neutralisation of the event, John Bennett stopped against the wall with the Trident car.

Formula 2 continues the 2026 season on September 24, 25 and 26 with the Azerbaijan round, in Baku.
