The Madrid round of Formula 2, which concluded this Sunday (the 13th), brought the championship leaders even closer. After the 11th double-header weekend of the year, Nikola Tsolov remains at the top of the standings, but sees Rafael Câmara and Gabriele Mini, his main rivals in the championship battle, closer than they were before the series’ visit to the Spanish capital.
Tsolov, who did not score over the weekend, remains on 177 points, and saw his lead reduced to seven points over Câmara, the runner-up with 170. Mini, on 153, is third, 24 points behind the Bulgarian. Alexander Dunne, with 139, sits fourth, while Noel León, with 119, completes the top five.
Dino Beganovic, winner this Sunday, is sixth with 106, while Joshua Durksen sits seventh with 90 points. Kush Maini, with 88, is eighth, followed by Laurens van Hoepen, ninth with 72. The top ten also includes Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak, with 71. Emmo Fittipaldi, who was fifth in this morning’s standings, is 17th with 28 points.
The Formula 2 continues its 2026 season in two weeks with the Azerbaijan round, on the street circuit laid out in Baku.
