Ugochukwu Crowned F3 Champion: Final Standings

The Formula 3 closed this Sunday (the 13th) the 2026 season at Madring, the circuit located in Madrid, Spain, with Ugo Ugochukwu taking the title. The Campos Racing driver finished in second place in the race that sealed the championship and reached 159 points, becoming the first American to become champion in the category.

Freddie Slater, who arrived in the Spanish capital leading the standings, finishes the season as runner-up by amassing 145 points. Tuukka Taponen, winner this Sunday, secured third place in the championship with 109 points, surpassing Taito Kato, fourth with 105. Theóphile Nael ends the top five with 88 points.

Winner of a race during the 2026 season, Pedro Clerot finishes his first year in the category in sixth place, amassing 88 points, but behind Nael on tiebreakers. Fernando Barrichello finished the championship in 27th place, collecting two points across the nine rounds of this year.
