The Brazilian finished tenth in the session on Friday (the 11th), which set the starting grid, and with the grid inversion, he will start from pole position in the Sprint race on Saturday.
The tenth place marks the best performance for the driver, who is in his first year in the main Formula 2 feeder category for Formula 1 this season. Through the team’s social networks, Emmo thanked the crew for the car available for today’s qualifying and expressed his hope to deliver a strong performance on Saturday, aiming for points to climb the standings, where he sits 21st.
