Following a standout performance in NASCAR Brasil’s latest round, Galid Osman and Ricardo Zonta arrive motivated for a new challenge in the championship. The Shell duo returns to the track in an unprecedented setting for the series, with Cuiabá’s circuit (MT) making its debut during a weekend that will run entirely at night.
Galid Osman is enjoying a special moment after claiming Shell’s first win of the 2026 season. The São Paulo-born driver had a weekend of strong results in the previous round, stepping onto the podium in both races held, a performance that marked the best showing by the team in the category this year.
In addition to the victory, Osman also secured a pole position and arrives at Cuiabá confident to stay in the championship fight.
“I have the same expectations as always, but I’m coming in more excited after a victory and a pole. We have everything to do very well on this new track that I’m eager to explore. We’ll aim for a strong weekend to firmly enter the title fight,” said Galid Osman.

Ricardo Zonta também busca aproveitar a evolução apresentada nas últimas corridas. O paranaense terminou a corrida 1 da etapa anterior dentro do top 10, mas não conseguiu completar a segunda prova por causa de problemas no corpo da borboleta.

For the new round, the driver emphasizes the goal of maintaining a streak of consistent races and extracting the maximum performance from the car: “I am working hard to reach the best possible level of performance. This weekend I hope to run cleanly and incident-free to get the most out of what the car can deliver,” Ricardo Zonta stated.
The schedule’s main attraction will be the “Night Challenge,” an event that brings together two races totaling 100 miles and closes the round’s activities. Before that, the drivers will have two free practice sessions and the qualifying session on Friday. The races will take place on Saturday, broadcast on NASCAR Brasil’s official YouTube channels.
