Analysis: Velocitta Boosts NASCAR Brasil’s Strong Momentum With Fans

July 2, 2026

The weekend, closed on Sunday (the 28th), marked a special moment for NASCAR Brasil. The category held the fourth stage of the 2026 season at Velocitta Autódromo, in Mogi Guaçu (SP). But beyond the action-packed races, the main highlight was the large crowd presence in the interior of the state of São Paulo.

As the broadcast of the races progressed, the Velocitta viewing terrace could be seen filled with fans. The significant rise in attendance, noted even by the broadcast team, reinforces the impression that NASCAR Brasil is widening its connection with the fans, who arrive at the circuit expecting competitive racing and an experience that goes beyond the track.

This weekend was no different. Race 1 ran at a more controlled pace, while Race 2 delivered all the excitement expected, with the winner determined only in the final moments. The conclusion of the race ended up being turbulent, but for the crowd, the anticipation of discovering who would claim victory made the competition even more thrilling.

Without taking anything away from the work of drivers, teams and all the professionals involved, the weekend’s main storyline in Mogi Guaçu was the crowd. Fans took part in the activations, cheered at every duel, and filled the grid walk. The caps handed out during the fan day, in fact, turned into real “flags” of support, helping to color the event even more.

It’s no secret that NASCAR Brasil prioritizes closeness to the audience, investing in trends and activations that turn a trip to the race track into a fuller experience than simply watching the races. In this stage, two initiatives drew attention: the promotion of the film “Supergirl” on the cars of drivers Tata Calderón and Bruna Tomaselli and an activation with a well-known makeup brand.

At first glance, it may seem like a simple action. But those who frequent race tracks know that women’s fans are rarely the target of activations designed specifically for them. Much is said about inclusion in motorsport, yet few series directly address women—and, more importantly, a universe that is often viewed as incompatible with cars, the scent of fuel, and speed.

Promoting an initiative aimed at this audience, without giving up femininity, is a positive move. NASCAR Brasil already stands out for offering programming that caters to the whole family and has much to gain by engaging directly with women. Whether on the track, with the presence of high-level competitors, or off it, creating an environment where they also feel part of the experience, the category shows that it understands that attracting new fans necessarily involves making everyone feel represented and welcome.
