Raúl Fernández won the Sprint at the Dutch Grand Prix, the tenth round of the 2026 MotoGP season, contested this Saturday (27) at the Assen circuit. The Trackhouse-affiliated Aprilia rider seized the lead early in the race and held off his rivals in the final laps of the 13-lap sprint weekend to claim victory in the short race.
The runner-up spot went to Ai Ogura, who narrowed the gap to Fernández in the closing laps but could not mount a challenge. Fabio Di Giannantonio, aboard a VR46 Ducati, finished third, followed by the Aprilia duo with Marco Bezzecchi ending in fourth and Jorge Martín in fifth.

Francesco Bagnaia, aboard a Ducati, finished sixth, ahead of his team-mate Marc Márquez who ended seventh. Enea Bastianini, with a Tech3 KTM, was eighth, just in front of Pedro Acosta, also on a KTM. The top ten was completed by Fabio Quartararo of Yamaha. Diogo Moreira, the sole Brazilian on the grid, ended 11th aboard the LCR Honda.
The Dutch MotoGP will take place on Sunday (28), with a start at 9:00 a.m.

The race began with Ai Ogura taking the lead, followed by Jorge Martín and Raúl Fernández. Right at the first corner, Joan Mir crashed out at turn 4, exiting the contest. Early in the race, Martín regained the lead from Ogura. The top-5 at the end of the opening lap still included Fabio Di Giannantonio and Marco Bezzecchi. Diogo Moreira was running 11th.

Ogura began to be pressed by Fernández, who managed to make the overtake as early as the second lap. Moreira moved up to 10th after Pedro Acosta went wide into the gravel. In the third lap, the Brazilian overtook Fabio Quartararo and entered the points zone by taking ninth place.
Márquez and Bagnaia started a duel for sixth place, with the reigning world champion prevailing. At the front, Fernández took over the lead by overtaking Martín, while Di Giannantonio overtook Ogura, moving to third on the fourth lap. The Spanish Aprilia rider made a mistake and dropped to fourth, coming under pressure from Bezzecchi.
On the fifth lap, Martín again overtook Ogura, who reclaimed third place a few meters later. In the lead, Fernández began to face the challenge from Di Giannantonio for the victory as the Japanese Trackhouse rider tried to close in on the pair. In the next lap, Jack Miller retired with the Pramac Yamaha, pitting to the box.
With seven laps completed, Bagnaia overtook Márquez, moving to sixth, while Martín and Bezzecchi battled for fourth, with the Italian taking fourth. Both were warned for track limits. The lead group continued with Fernández in front, now with a margin over Di Giannantonio, who was being pressured by Ogura.
Ogura overtook Di Giannantonio with four laps remaining, while Fernández held a 1.3-second lead over his teammate. Behind them, Moreira lost two positions, dropping to 11th behind Acosta and Quartararo. Bastianini, in turn, fought Márquez for seventh.
In a bid for the win, Ogura posted the fastest lap of the race on the 11th lap, while Franco Morbidelli crashed on the penultimate lap. Fernández continued to the chequered flag, leading a Trackhouse 1-2 with Ogura, while Di Giannantonio completed the podium.
