Valdeno Brito Approves Pace in NASCAR Brasil Return with Fourth and Seventh Places in Curvelo Racing Event

September 28, 2025

The return of Valdeno Brito to NASCAR Brasil was quite positive for the driver of Rodolpho Mattheis’ team. Always competing for positions at the front of the pack, the Paraiban driver finished the first segment of the race in fourth place in the main category and was seventh overall at the end of his debut on the Curvelo (MG) oval.

“The balance was positive because we were competitive all weekend. I would like to thank the sponsors, especially SETAI Grupo GP, which is with me in this. Today, there were two races and in the first one, I finished sixth overall among 21 cars, but with a pace similar to that of the second-place car to mine,” explains Valdeno, who is sponsored by SETAI Grupo GP.

“I’m satisfied with the weekend. Obviously, we always want more because we’re competitive. In the second race, we made a conservative start. I was in the same position when, in the second half of the race, I ended up getting touched on the rear of my car, and that really hurt me because the bumper got caught on the tire, ‘locking’ the car practically like a brake, and then it was a matter of trying to survive with the car turning almost a second slower,” Valdeno concludes.

The next stage of the NASCAR Brasil Special Edition will be held on November 2 at the Autódromo Velocitta in Mogi Guaçu (SP).
