Top 5 Cars at the Sao Paulo Motor Show Highlights

The São Paulo Auto Show returned in 2025 after a seven-year hiatus, and the edition that marks the event’s return to Anhembi, in the state capital, features several special vehicles for car enthusiasts to appreciate.

The exhibition promises to please various audiences, from purists and classic car fans to those interested in new hybrid and electric vehicle technologies. For this reason, we have selected some cars that bring different proposals and are worth seeing up close.

1- Ferrari F40
Brought by Carde, an automotive museum in Campos do Jordão (SP), the Ferrari F40 is one of the most sought-after cars for photos and videos at the Auto Show.

Equipped with a 2.9 biturbo V8 engine producing 478 horsepower and 58.9 kgfm of torque, the F40 has a five-speed manual transmission and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. Its top speed exceeds 320 km/h, and it has rear-wheel drive.

Renault Boreal

2- Renault Boreal
Elected Car of the Year in Brazil by Revista Autoesporte, the Renault Boreal arrives with the proposal to show the new moment experienced by the French manufacturer in the country. The mid-size SUV starts at R$ 179,990 to compete with the Toyota Corolla Cross, Jeep Compass, VW Taos, among others. Its engine is the 1.3 turbo with 163 horsepower and 25.5 kgfm of torque, and the Boreal is produced in São José dos Pinhais (PR).

Honda Prelude

3- Honda Prelude
Considered the biggest gem of the 2025 Auto Show, the Honda Prelude steals the scene as soon as the visitor passes the entrance of Anhembi. The sports car was confirmed to arrive in Brazil in the second half of 2026.

In the United States, it is offered from US$ 42,000 (R$ 227,000). The Prelude’s engine is the 2.0 aspirated gasoline that works in conjunction with the electric propeller in the e:HEV system, the same one seen in the Civic hybrid sold in Brazil. It produces 203 horsepower and 32.1 kgfm of torque.

Toyota Yaris GR

4- Toyota GR Yaris
Confirmed to arrive in the Brazilian market in April 2026 with manual and automatic versions, the Toyota GR Yaris has the same DNA as the GR Corolla already offered in Brazil. The hot hatch is powered by a 1.6 turbo engine producing 300 horsepower and is designed to be a car focused on performance enthusiasts. When it arrives in Brazil, it will certainly be a car often seen at track days.

Fiat Abarth 600 E

5- Fiat 600E Abarth
On display in Brazil for the first time, the Abarth 600E is a 100% electric SUV with a unique design and produces 280 horsepower. Its acceleration from 0-100 km/h can be done in 5.8 seconds. The color of the exhibited unit is Hypnotic Purple, and there are chances that this car will be sold in Brazil in the future.
