Third place in the Challenge class of the NASCAR Brazil Special Edition, Tito Giaffone arrives with momentum for the championship decision at the Autódromo de Interlagos this weekend. The Full Time team driver comes from pole and victory achieved in the first race of the last stage, held at Autódromo Velocitta, and arrives at the championship final with title chances.
“The victory in our category at Velocitta was very significant, especially after having achieved the overall pole position. It shows how much we have evolved during the year and how important it was for my career to participate in activities in the United States,” says Tito, who has the support of PPG.
Young revelation of NASCAR Brazil in 2025, Tito was one of the finalists of the Drive Development and participated in the program held in the United States with tests on an oval circuit, media activities, a visit to the NASCAR technology and development center, and attended the Talladega stage in person. After returning to Brazil and achieving victory at Velocitta, Tito has 68 points and is 18 points behind the leader in the dispute for the Special Edition.
“We know it will be a great final in Interlagos and that in motorsport anything can happen, so I will work to do my best. To arrive at the last stage fighting for the Special Edition title is already very special for my first year in touring cars, and we will do our maximum in the races,” explains Tito.
The NASCAR Brazil activities begin this Friday at Interlagos. Saturday’s schedule includes qualifying at noon and the first race at 3:30 pm. The second race will be on Sunday starting at 4:10 pm. The races are broadcast on RedeTV!, ESPN, and YouTube.
