Sportv Confirms F2 Broadcast During Super Bowl Event Announcement

February 10, 2026

The primary category of base for pilots who seek to reach Formula 1, Formula 2 will have its transmission on Sportv channels in the 2026 season. The announcement was made by narrator Everaldo Marques during the opening of the Super Bowl transmission, the NFL decision, a professional American Football league in the United States, on the night of this Sunday (8).

Marques commented on F1 and F2 being on Globo Channels in 2026 after a comment about the NFL audience in Brazil. The narrator highlighted that the American Football league has Brazil as its second-largest market outside the United States, behind only Mexico.

When saying that Brazil was “giving a signal” to overtake Mexico, commentator Antony Curty joked, saying that “he was going to say that he was going to open the DRS, but now it’s no longer available”.

Immediately, Marques responded that “Formula 1 is here on Globo, and Formula 2 will also be on Globo and Sportv in its new season”, at the moment when the kickoff was given at Lewi’s Stadium, in Santa Clara, California, opening Super Bowl LX.

As we published, besides F1, the categories that run in the GP programming will be on the screens of Globo Channels. This means that Sportv will show Formula 2, Formula 3, F1 Academy, and Porsche Supercup.

Next Wednesday, the F1 pre-season begins, with three days of testing at the Sakhir circuit, in Bahrain. The 2026 championship will be opened on March 8, with the dispute of the Australian GP, in Melbourne, when F1, F2, and F3 will start their seasons.
