Rafael Câmara is thrilled with the attention that Formula 3 has been receiving from Brazilian fans. The competitor commented on how he has seen increasing support and people following the category, which he considers very important.
The competitor from Recife was the big champion of F3 in the 2025 season. Not only that, but he is already signed and guaranteed in Formula 2 in 2026 with Invicta Racing, the same team with which Gabriel Bortoleto won his title in 2024.
During a press conference in the Ferrari room on Thursday (6), as a warm-up for the São Paulo GP, the F1MANIA.NET asked the competitor how he has seen the growth of interest from Brazilian fans in the lower categories and how he views all the support.
“In Formula 3, it’s been possible to feel all the people who are following, because it’s also being shown on Band on TV now, a lot of people are following. Even people in my own family who don’t know what’s going on, because it has more visibility, are getting to know more about what our sport is really about. Of course, it helps the fans, the people of Brazil are emotional, so all the support in every race, everyone is euphoric,” he said in response to the site.
“But I think it’s something positive for us, of course, there are difficult moments, but I think that most of the time it’s the positive side and that’s what helps us to work, to fight for our goal. Of course, this year was a turning point because you do F4 Regional and of course, there are people following, but now you can see that a lot of people are watching,” he added.
