Pedro Clerot Shines with Strong Start alongside Rodin in F3 Testing Sessions

October 13, 2025

One of the main names in Brazilian motorsport on the path to Formula 1, Pedro Clerot completed the first batch of tests in Formula 3 on Wednesday (8). The driver spent two days with Rodin Motorsport at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto circuit in Spain, where he had his first contact with the car from the category he will debut in in 2026.

Over these two days of activities, Clerot sought to adapt to the car, the new team, and the tires, which are similar to those used in Formula 1 and quite different from those the driver has been using in the FRECA for the past two seasons. The Brazilian’s focus is on understanding how everything works to arrive well-prepared for the first round of the championship in March 2026.

“It was a very positive test, I adapted well to the car and the team, and also to how we can work and how the car functions. We used the hard compounds in these tests, and I need to adapt to the tires as well. We’re going to understand how everything works with the team to arrive as well-prepared as possible for next year’s season”, said Pedro Clerot.

“Today we managed to take a good step, with work focused on race simulations. It was very positive overall, I felt good in the car and we were with a very competitive time compared to the other drivers. I also sought to understand how the tires work and how the degradation is different from the FRECA. I’m happy and we’re going to Barcelona confident”, Clerot added.

Throughout the two days of activities, the Brazilian completed 136 laps around the Spanish circuit in four sessions, with two on Tuesday and two on Wednesday. On the first day, Clerot was the 11th fastest. Today, the Rodin driver achieved his best time of the week, with a mark of 1min30s740, nine-tenths better than the one obtained on Tuesday.

The Formula 3 test batches will continue in the coming weeks, on October 15 and 16, at the Barcelona circuit, also in Spain. The 2026 season will be opened between March 6, 7, and 8, in Melbourne, Australia.
