Pedro Clerot Highlights F3 Grid Strength Ahead of Category Debut in Upcoming Season

November 6, 2025

One of the highlights of Brazilian motorsport in the junior categories of Formula 1, Pedro Clerot believes that he will face stiff competition in his first year in Formula 3, a category he will compete in in 2026, defending the Rodin Motorsport team. The driver, who completed the FRECA season with two victories, believes that a large part of the F3 grid has the potential to reach the top category of international motorsport.

“The level of drivers in Europe is surreal, with at least ten drivers with the potential to reach F1 in FRECA. And in Formula 3, there are about 15. I believe I have adapted well and have always been improving,” said Clerot, during an event organized by Reddit, which featured questions from platform users and took place after collective F3 tests.

The first champion in the history of F4 Brazil, Clerot believes that his time in the national category was important for the continuation of his career in European motorsport. In his trajectory in motorsport, the Brazilian passed through F4 Spain before competing in FRECA for the past two years.

“F4 helped me a lot in terms of giving me time in the car and racing experience. I believe that my adaptation year in Brazil was essential, I had extra time with my family and friends before really moving to Europe, I had a very good environment for that moment,” added the driver.

The 2025 F3 season will kick off on March 8th, with the Australian round in Melbourne.
