Pedro Clerot Completes Final FRECA Stage in Monza and Appreciates VAR’s Achievement Efforts

October 25, 2025

The final stage of the FRECA 2025 will be held this weekend, and the double round in Monza, Italy, marks the end of a two-year cycle for Pedro Clerot with the Van Amersfoort Racing team. The partnership has yielded great achievements, and this last challenge still marks the realization of the 100th race in the history of FRECA, considered the main gateway to F3.

“I’m really excited and confident for the last stage in Monza. It’s the end of our two-year chapter with the team, so I’m really happy to have been able to fight for the title this year. Happy for what we built in these two years, with the same mechanics, engineers, and same package. We created an incredible team together, so I just have to thank VAR for this period,” says Clerot, who has sponsorship from Banco BRB.

Clerot and VAR achieved two victories, three poles, and six podiums in the 2025 season, in addition to two more podiums in 2024 and three more victories in the Rookie category last season.

“It’s been really two years of many experiences for me, so I’m very grateful for everything we’ve been through. This year we fought for the championship until the penultimate stage and showed what we’re capable of doing. We worked hard and unfortunately, it’s the last chapter, but I’m confident that we’re going to end this chapter in a good way and who knows, fighting for victories in the last stage,” completes Clerot, who is confirmed in F3 in 2026.

The collective tests of FRECA in Monza will be held this Friday. Saturday will start with qualification at 3:30 am and the first race will follow immediately, starting at 7:50 am. The second qualification will open Sunday at 3:30 am and define the grid for the second race, which marks the 100th test in the history of FRECA, with the start at 9:50 am (Brasilia time).
